Sean Donato
President, Owner
Sean Donato is an entrepreneur and the president of Apple Printing & Advertising Specialties and boasts over thirty years of experience. Partnered with his brother, he is the third generation to lead the company.
Sean comes from a family of printers, with both his father and grandfather before him. In fact, the first family print shop, named The Big Red Q, was located in Fort Lauderdale in 1973. With the desire to grow the business and tap into promotional products, his father re-branded the business to Apple Printing & Advertising Specialties in 1985. Making the choice to be in the printing and promotional products industry was easy, as Sean began his career at the age of 18 and remained in the same family-owned business ever since. One could say that ink runs through his blood.
From printing on the machines and bindery to learning promotional products and sales, Sean has worked in many different facets of the business. The hands-on experience and knowledge he has gained over time made him well-versed in the industry, enabling him to provide an unrivaled level of service to his clients. Sean states that the fast-paced environment and ever-changing industry are what motivate him daily.
He is an active member of the local BNI chapter, a donor to many charitable organizations, a supporter of local public and private schools and a frequent sponsor of large corporate fundraisers. He is a firm believer in paying generosity forward.
Away from the office, Sean resides in Lighthouse Point, Florida and is happily married to his wife, Tammi, with whom he has two children, Nicole and Joseph. Growing up around water, Sean has had the opportunity to do what he enjoys most: fish. When he is not working, you can find him fishing locally or in the Florida Keys.
